In short
True trimless lighting needs a ceiling or wall lining to plaster into; with exposed concrete, use rafts, bulkheads or cast-in details, or choose surface or suspended lighting.

Exposed concrete has no void and no board to plaster into.
Options
- Create a plasterboard raft or bulkhead for trimless lines
- Cast-in profiles, coordinated with the structural engineer
- Surface or suspended lighting for exposed soffits
Our advice
Plan early. Cast-in details are very difficult to change later.
